The Fortnightly Children's Playgroup | University of Missouri-Columbia

Location of the Childrens Playgroup

Field trips are scheduled approximately monthly, usually on Fridays. Please check the events page to find out where the group will be meeting next.

During the summer months, we meet at a different park each week, always at 10:00 in order to avoid the most intense heat of the day.

During the academic year, most playgroups are held at the Kraatz home (901 Audubon Drive in Columbia; 573-441-9945). To get to the Kraatz House click on a link below for directions.

Go east on Stadium toward Highway 63. Turn left/north at the last intersection before you get to Hwy 63 - you will be on Audubon Drive (there is a Greek Orthodox Church on the northeast corner of this intersection and if you turned right instead you'd be going toward the movie theater). Go straight down Audubon Drive, past Shepard School on your right, through a stop sign, across Shepard Boulevard, down a small hill. Our house is the last house on the left - a tan brick with a carriage house facing the turnoff to Peppertree Lane. After our house the street turns back on itself and takes on a different name (Randy Lane) so if you find yourself heading back in the direction you came from, you know that you've gone too far.
