Rain Location from June – August: Rock Quarry Park House (toys available for children to play indoors – small fee). The house is located in Rock Quarry Park, off Nifong between Hwy 63 and Providence.

Other things to bear in mind:
Child care is available in the Kid Zone for $2 per visit while you exercise at the ARC
The ARC pool is open at noon on days when public school is out
Indoor playgrounds for rainy days are at the Mall (free), Going Bonkers, BurgerKing
on Nifong, and McDonald's near the Mall
Rhymes & Rhythms for Walkers/Prewalkers is an excellent program at the library for very young
infants and toddlers that meets regularly, but not every week. Call 443-3161 for schedule
