Welcome to Fortnightly Club

The Fortnightly Club was established in October 1892 for faculty wives for the dual purpose of providing "congenial associations for the wives of faculty members" and "building community resources and good will at the University." Membership is now open to women affiliated with the faculty of the University of Missouri-Columbia, including those associated with the University System residing in this area.

We are an active group of over 400 members. Activities are planned for the group as a whole such as the Fall Welcome Tea, Holiday Luncheon, and bus trips. Small groups meet as interest groups, with interests ranging from biking to book discussions to needle crafts.

Fortnightly Club Dues

Fortnightly Annual Dues are $15 for 2009-2010. To avoid a lapse in your membership, and to ensure that you continue to receive bulletins and are eligible to participate in interest group activities, please send the Membership Form, along with your $15 check to our treasurer: Diana Groshong at 201 West Boulevard South, Columbia, MO 65203.
